COURSE
All routes pass through a beautiful meadow and ponderosa pine forest with fantastic views of the Diamond Mountains.

Kids Run & Seniors Walk – A one mile loop around Bagwell Creek in the meadow. Gentle grades.

1-mile Trail Run Map

2-mile Run & Walk – A longer loop around the meadow which includes sections along Bagwell Creek, ponderosa pine forest and grass meadow. Gentle grades.

2-mile Run & Walk Map

4.7-mile Run – A challenging cross country course that includes the short loop around the meadow with the addition of the tough Coyote Bluff trail. Gentle to moderately steep grades that make for a fun and strategic race.

RACE-DAY SCHEDULE

7:30 – 9:15 Race day registration – pick up race number
8:30 a.m. Kid’s Run
9:10 a.m. Awards for Kid’s Run
9:30 a.m. 2-mile & 4.7-mile run
10:30 Awards & refreshments

PRE-REGISTRATION – Last day for early registration is May 17, 2012 at 5:00pm.  Registration done after that time will be subject to late registration fees.  See below.

Fees

19 and over – $ 17.00 early registration/$20.00 late
18 and under and walkers – $ 10.00 early registration/$12.00 late
Kids run (12 and under) – Free

AWARDS

Times will be recorded for each finisher.  Overall and age group awards for 2-mile and 4.7-mile runs. Overall awards for 2-mile walk and kids run.  Randomly drawn raffle prizes to participants. Plus, free refreshments for all entrants.

DIRECTIONS

Turn north onto Roop Street off State Highway 36 at the top of Main Street in Susanville by the Uptown Cinema (west end of town just below the big white Elk’s Lodge building).  Follow Roop Street for approximately one mile to the intersection with Lakewood Way (note that Roop becomes Cherry Terrace after about 0.5miles). Turn left and you will see the start area and kiosk at Susanville Ranch County Park. Ample parking is available.
